threatended with bailiffs
I have been threatended with bailiffs, bankruptcy orders and poor credit history due to a so called unpaid bill of £41 from Jan to March 2005 (yes 2005). When we moved house in Dec 2005 we transferred our Scottish Power account to the new address - informing them we had moved house. After 6 months of paying unjustified direct debits we transferred out account to NPower. 2 and a half years later a debt collecting agency sent us a court threat unless we paid a bill from 2005 for the address we’d moved out of!! - I complained 8 months ago and have still had nothing apart from debt letters. I can pay it - but i’m not out of principle....they’re just interested in grabbing as much money as they can. I’ve now emailed watchdog...pls join me!
